Health Systems · Work With Me
Every engagement starts with a conversation and ends with tools your team can own and deploy independently. Here's what to expect from working with Vekata.
The Process
01
We start with a no-obligation call to discuss your organization's priorities, your team, and what you're trying to accomplish. This is where I learn whether Vekata is the right fit — and where you can ask anything.
02
Based on our conversation, I'll propose an engagement structure — retainer, project-based, or a combination. For project work, I'll provide a written Statement of Work with defined deliverables, timeline, and fees.
03
Once we've aligned on scope and terms, we formalize the engagement with a consulting agreement and schedule a kickoff. Retainer engagements begin with a 3-month initial term.
04
Retainer clients receive up to 10 hours of consulting per month, billed on the 1st. We establish a regular cadence — and I'm available for async questions, reviews, and strategic input throughout.
05
Every engagement ends with structured, reusable deliverables your team can own and deploy independently. You leave with infrastructure — not a consulting dependency.
Engagement Options
Monthly Retainer
Retainer
An ongoing advisory relationship for health systems that need consistent nursing informatics expertise embedded in their innovation and technology work.
Project-Based
Custom
Defined deliverables scoped and priced via a written Statement of Work. Ideal for a specific initiative — a roadmap, a retreat, a vendor selection process, or a KPI framework build.
Is This a Fit?
are building or refreshing a clinical technology roadmap and need nursing informatics expertise at the table
are navigating AI adoption in nursing workflows and want a framework that actually gets used at the bedside
have a technology investment that isn't delivering expected adoption — and need to understand why
are preparing for a major vendor selection and want evaluation criteria grounded in clinical reality
want to build internal innovation capability so their teams can lead change, not just respond to it
need to translate nursing workflow improvements into language that lands with the CFO and the board
No commitment required for the initial call. Reach out and we'll find a time to talk through your organization's priorities.
